Wireless Systems Integration Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead validation, bringup, and performance characterization of WiFi PHY/Radio systems on emulation, FPGA, and silicon platforms.
• Design optimal algorithms for calibrating IQ imbalance, DC Offset, LO feed through, and other radio impairments.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to implement algorithms for factory tuning and real-time operation.
• Develop and maintain Python-based pre-silicon and post-silicon validation and debug platforms.
• Create test plans, collect results, and identify/debug issues during the product development lifecycle.
• Implement signal processing algorithms such as timing recovery, automatic gain control, and RF impairment correction.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with chip bringup and tuning wireless transmitter or receiver chains for optimal performance.
• In-depth knowledge of communication theory, OFDM systems, RF system architecture, and signal processing algorithms.
• Experience designing algorithms for calibration, pre-equalization, or digital pre-distortion techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, or C/C++ implementation.
• Hands-on experience using wireless test lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, and power meters.
• Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards, LTE, pre-silicon validation tools, and automated test flow development (preferred).
