Wireless Radio Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop system models for RF/analog designs, radio chains, and integrated radio interaction behaviors.
• Design algorithms and methods to mitigate radio impairments through calibration, pre-equalization, and pre-distortion techniques.
• Perform quantitative analysis and link simulations to evaluate radio performance across various application scenarios.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware designers to implement physical and radio compensation algorithms.
• Architect state-of-the-art radio systems in coordination with radio designers.
• Bring up, test, characterize, and optimize real silicon in a laboratory environment.
• Develop modeling and simulation tools using MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.

What we're looking for

• BS degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of RF and analog components, impairments, and calibration/reduction methods in wireless systems.
• Proven track record of developing RF calibration algorithms for RF impairments.
• Experience using MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation.
• Hands-on experience with lab testing and characterization tools like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
• MSEE or PhD degree (preferred).
• Understanding of communication theory, information theory, and signal processing algorithms (preferred).
• Knowledge of wireless protocols such as 5G-NR/LTE, WiFi, or Bluetooth (preferred).
