Director, Engineering

What you'll do

• Own and execute the Sector engineering strategy in alignment with business growth and operational priorities.
• Lead end-to-end technical strategy and product development across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Translate enterprise and customer needs into actionable technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Drive engineering transformation initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and technical capability.
• Provide executive leadership oversight across engineering activities spanning four business units.
• Establish governance models, metrics, and operating rhythms to ensure consistent execution and accountability.
• Own resource planning, prioritization, and allocation to optimize delivery against business commitments.
• Standardize engineering processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency across the Sector.

What we're looking for

• Advanced Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of prior related leadership experience.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel.
• Active Secret Security Clearance (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary engineering organizations across multiple business units or sites (preferred).
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements including ITAR (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
