What you'll do

Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams through all phases of the complex product development lifecycle.
Develop program execution schedules and monitor team progress to ensure timely task completion.
Coordinate engineering proposal content by identifying scope and partnering on Basis of Estimates.
Communicate program plans, status updates, and technical issues to external customers and internal senior leadership.
Lead the engineering team through design gates including System Requirements, Preliminary, and Critical Design Reviews.
Ensure all designs align with engineering standards, compliance requirements, and manufacturability expectations.
Partner with operations, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering to ensure seamless production transitions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in Project Engineering in lieu of a degree.
Experience leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, including cost and schedule generation and management.
Experience with bids and proposals.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other leadership functions across the organization (preferred).
Outstanding communication, collaboration, time management, presentation, and organizational skills (preferred).
Security clearance.
