What you'll do

Manage the end-to-end construction of data centers by colocation providers to ensure they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems while ensuring alignment with design specifications.
Direct the startup and commissioning phases of major projects to ensure all systems are fully operational.
Manage contract negotiations and performance for external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Identify and mitigate project risks while communicating potential impacts to senior management.
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers.
Supervise site walks and quality control processes to ensure construction activities meet industry standards.
Manage the creation and maintenance of technical documentation including design reviews and commissioning papers.

What we're looking for

Must have 10+ years of experience in the relevant field.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Experience managing construction projects for data centers by colocation providers is required.
Ability to manage project budgets and optimize resource allocation is required.
Experience leading the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems is required.
Ability to lead contract negotiations and management with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers is required.
Ability to oversee quality control processes and ensure construction meets design specifications is required.
Willingness to travel 50% or more for the role is required.
