What you'll do

Oversee data center construction by colocation providers to ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and quality standards.
Manage the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems while ensuring adherence to design specifications.
Direct the creation and maintenance of project documentation including design reviews, commissioning papers, and problem-solving reports.
Oversee startup and commissioning phases for major data center projects to ensure all systems are fully operational.
Identify and mitigate construction risks while communicating potential impacts to executive leadership.
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers to coordinate project activities.
Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance and performance.
Lead strategic site walks to monitor schedule adherence and quality throughout the construction lifecycle.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of relevant experience.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Experience overseeing data center construction by colocation providers within budget and timeline.
Ability to lead project managers and provide high-level leadership for strategic goals.
Expertise in managing contract negotiations and relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
Proficiency in overseeing power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.
