What you'll do

Provide strategic oversight for data center construction by colocation providers to ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and quality standards.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation including design reviews, commissioning papers, and problem-solving records.
Oversee the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems while ensuring adherence to design specifications.
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers for all construction activities and escalated issues.
Manage vendor relationships by overseeing the selection, negotiation, and contract management of external contractors and suppliers.
Identify risks to project delivery and implement comprehensive mitigation strategies across a portfolio of construction projects.
Conduct site walks to ensure quality control and verify that construction aligns with approved plans.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in data center construction or related fields.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Experience overseeing the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems is required.
Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables for high-impact infrastructure projects.
Experience managing contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Ability to lead risk identification, mitigation strategies, and complex problem-solving for construction projects.
Proficiency in coordinating with design teams to ensure alignment with technical specifications.
Ability to provide executive oversight during the startup and commissioning phases of data center projects.
