What you'll do

Implement strategies for the architecture and delivery of scalable, interdependent distributed systems.
Orchestrate cross-group optimizations for high-throughput, large-scale data processing and data plane platforms.
Provide strategic oversight for fault-tolerant architectures, including redundancy, replication, and automatic failover mechanisms.
Lead initiatives to harden networks via load-shedding, throttling, and rate-limiting techniques.
Drive KPI and telemetry strategies to create complex dashboards and proactive alerting for system health.
Guide organization-wide incident management and operational readiness to eliminate customer maintenance windows.
Provide strategic security guidance on encryption, access controls, and cloud infrastructure compliance.
Sponsor automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable safe patching and rollbacks at scale.

What we're looking for

Must have 10+ years of experience.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have experience leading multiple teams to implement scalable distributed systems.
Must have experience with high-throughput, large-scale data processing and data plane platforms.
Must have experience with fault-tolerant architectures, redundancy, replication, and automatic failover.
Must have experience with load-shedding, throttling, and rate-limiting techniques.
Must have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation scripts.
Must have experience with security measures including encryption and access controls.
