Digital Workplace Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage the technical roadmap and operations for core platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft 365.
• Build custom automations and API-first integrations between SaaS tools and internal systems to reduce manual overhead.
• Lead incident resolution and post-mortem processes for outages or misconfigurations within the digital workspace domain.
• Design and scale infrastructure using clean design patterns, infrastructure-as-code, and robust API documentation.
• Enforce engineering best practices regarding monitoring, alerting, observability, and compliance auditing for third-party tools.
• Manage security protocols including data loss prevention, conditional access, and third-party app governance.
• Mentor and coach other engineers while facilitating onboarding for new team members.
• Participate in the interview process to help grow the engineering team.

What we're looking for

• Expert-level administration of enterprise Google Workspace and Slack.
• Experience managing secondary corporate SaaS and collaboration tooling at scale, such as Microsoft 365, Filecloud, DocuSign, Adobe, and Calendly.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python or JavaScript/Apps Script preferred) to interact with SaaS REST APIs.
• Deep proficiency with GAM for command-line management of domains and user settings.
• Solid understanding of security best practices including DLP, conditional access, and third-party app governance.
• Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset to facilitate cross-team projects.
• Typically 3+ years of relevant SaaS Engineering, Digital Workspace, or Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, low/no-code platforms, compliance audits, or relevant certifications (preferred).
