AVP, Digital Workplace Engineering

What you'll do

• Set the engineering and reliability strategy for collaboration and digital workspace platforms.
• Translate the AI-first engineering strategy into a multi-year technical roadmap.
• Establish and own the organization's OKRs to measure availability, performance, and employee experience.
• Operationalize Reliability Engineering models including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and blameless postmortems.
• Drive an AI-first culture by embedding agentic automation and AI-assisted engineering into the SDLC.
• Build end-to-end observability and telemetry to proactively detect and resolve platform issues.
• Manage collaboration and workspace platforms as products with defined roadmaps and adoption metrics.
• Lead and modernize a team of engineering directors to increase technical depth and reliability ownership.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years in technology engineering and operations.
• 5+ years leading multi-team engineering organizations, including managing managers or directors.
• Proven record driving AI-first or AI-assisted engineering transformations at scale.
• Track record of building or transforming a reliability engineering practice using SLOs and incident management.
• Deep engineering background in collaboration and digital workspace platforms like Microsoft 365, Teams, and virtual desktops.
• Experience leading through OKRs and outcome-based goal setting.
• Experience shifting organizations from operations-led to engineering-led delivery in regulated industries.
