Senior Digital Workplace Engineer, AI & Collaboration

What you'll do

• Architect, configure, and manage Microsoft 365 and Slack Enterprise Grid platforms as the primary technical owner.
• Lead the technical execution of collaboration platform migrations and integrations during mergers and acquisitions.
• Evaluate, deploy, and govern AI-powered productivity tools including Slack AI, M365 Copilot, and ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Design and build automated workflows and AI agents to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Establish security guardrails and compliance policies for the safe use of AI and collaboration tools.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks to support internal teams and service management.
• Provide L3/L4 escalation support and mentor junior engineers on collaboration platform operations.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure with a focus on collaboration and digital workplace platforms.
• Deep expertise in Slack Enterprise Grid administration, including governance, app management, and multi-workspace architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft 365 collaboration and AI services, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Proven experience leading complex migrations such as Slack-to-Slack, Teams-to-Slack, and Google Workspace-to-M365.
• Demonstrated M&A integration experience involving technical assessment and platform consolidation for acquired companies.
• Proficiency with API-based integrations, webhooks, and workflow automation tools like Power Automate or Slack Workflow Builder.
• Experience integrating collaboration platform logs into SIEM solutions like Splunk to support security and operations.
• Experience with enterprise AI search platforms, ServiceNow ITSM, or relevant industry certifications (preferred).
