What you'll do

Lead the development and execution of large-scale projects, including program analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation.
Provide architectural guidance and ensure adherence to best practices and CTO guidelines for software development teams.
Conduct design reviews for Agile and Plan of Record projects and code reviews for Next Gen Architecture projects.
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and business risks while communicating these impacts to business owners.
Mentor and coach software development engineers to improve technical skills and delivery performance.
Establish and publish design patterns and best practices across different lines of business and domains.
Drive strategic decisions regarding resource usage, including hardware, runtime, performance, load, and memory requirements.
Manage dependencies between agile and waterfall delivery efforts to maximize organizational resources.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree (preferred).
6-10 years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role or senior-level experience in an Enterprise Architecture role.
Subject matter expertise in one or more areas including algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
Expertise in cloud platforms including AWS, PCF, and Akamai.
Knowledge of automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD.
Ability to lead, architect, and drive the adoption of broader technology patterns and techniques.
Ability to communicate risks, provide architectural guidance, and mentor software development engineers.
