What you'll do

  • Lead development efforts for large-scale projects, including program analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation.

  • Conduct and oversee design reviews and code reviews for Next Gen Architecture and Plan of Record projects.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and business risks while communicating impacts to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach software development engineers to improve team performance and technical skills.
  • Promote and document common design patterns across various lines of business and domains.
  • Drive strategic decisions regarding resource usage, including hardware, runtime, performance, load, and memory requirements.
  • Manage project dependencies between agile and waterfall delivery models to ensure timely results.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 6-10 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering or technology leadership.
  • Experience in the Wealth Management or broader Banking domain is required.
  • Expertise in Java microservices, RESTful APIs, and frontend development using Angular or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS, PCF, and Akamai.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated code quality, unit testing, and build processing.
  • Experience with modern development tools such as Devin or GitHub Co-pilot.
  • Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
