Digital Hardware Engineer

What you'll do

• Translate system requirements into efficient digital implementations that meet stringent performance specifications.
• Architect, implement, and verify FPGA and SoC designs for wireless systems.
• Develop and document product development milestones to meet project goals.
• Interpret 3GPP and other relevant wireless standards to inform design decisions.
• Perform HDL design verification from RTL through simulation and on-target testing.
• Implement high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIE.
• Support the commercialization of new hardware features and products.
• Conduct design reviews with cross-disciplinary teams including Systems, RF, and Software engineers.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in FPGA or ASIC design from RTL/HDL through simulation, synthesis, and on-target verification.
• At least 1 year of experience with VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog and related simulator/synthesis CAD tools.
• Experience in HDL Design Verification (DV).
• Understanding and use of high speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIE.
• Understanding of SOC interconnect standards such as AXI, AHB, AMBA, Wishbone, or Avalon.
• Experience with Linux development environments and product development involving hands-on lab work.
• Knowledge of signal processing, digital communications, and wireless physical layer specifications.
