Staff Digital Hardware Engineer

What you'll do

• Create hardware solutions for vehicle management, DSP, and networking.
• Develop and improve workflows throughout the FPGA and HDL design cycle.
• Independently review high-speed digital and compute-based designs.
• Oversee the full PCB development cycle for FPGA, SoC, and SoM host boards.
• Create strategies for delivering hardware and IP core solutions across the company.
• Maintain and communicate detailed product development schedules and deadlines.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs in military, automotive, or similar hardware.
• Experience leading an Electrical Engineering team focused on Digital Design.
• Proficiency in an HDL language such as VHDL or Verilog.
• Familiarity with common FPGA, CPU, MCU, GPU devices and standard interfaces like Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB.
• Experience in design for signal integrity and power integrity.
• Competence with test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, and test automation.
• Proficient with Altium Designer or an equivalent electronic design automation tool.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Understanding and familiarity with DO-254, DO-178C, DO-160, DO-311A (preferred).
• Understanding and familiarity with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461 (preferred).
• Expertise in computer networking (preferred).
• Experience with implementing enhanced security measures (preferred).
