Desktop Support Engineer

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and lab IT devices including scanners, printers, tablets, and PCs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, and cameras.
• Manage the full IT asset lifecycle including collection, imaging, labeling, allocation, and disposal.
• Execute rack and stack tasks for network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Manage power shutdown maintenance activities for network devices and servers in the Data Center.
• Coordinate with vendors for cable patching, printer maintenance, and physical access to server rooms.
• Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability for end users.
• Maintain network connectivity for LAN, Wi-Fi, and voice systems across the site.

What we're looking for

• Experience supporting manufacturing, lab, and distribution center IT systems and devices.
• Familiarity with scanners, Zebra printers, tablets, and PCs attached to specialized test equipment.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for AV devices and identifying root causes for IT device incidents.
• Advanced communication skills to coordinate with Network, Server teams, and OEMs on high-priority issues.
• Experience managing IT asset lifecycles including collection, imaging, labeling, and disposal.
• Basic troubleshooting for network devices including rack and stack of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of GMP and GxP environments and experience working in Clean Room settings.
• Advanced Microsoft skills including server support (preferred).
