The Design Engineer joins the IC design team within the ASIC Products Division to develop CMOS ASICs for AI, Cellular, Networking, Computing, and Storage products. This role involves taking innovative integrated circuit designs at speeds exceeding 2GHz from initial concept through final product release. Key responsibilities include customer communications, floor planning, routing, timing analysis and closure, and physical verification of complex high-speed ASICs. You will integrate memories, SerDes, I/O, test, and clocking structures while designing complex standard-cell and custom blocks. The position requires balancing design tradeoffs for power, area, and performance while addressing timing closure, power integrity, and signal integrity issues.
