As a Data Engineer, you will join a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, developers, and data consumers in an agile environment to build advanced technology solutions. You will be responsible for the assessment, design, construction, and maintenance of scalable platforms while developing pipelines that organize disparate data into meaningful insights. Your daily work involves retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data from APIs and databases. To succeed in this role, you must possess expertise in Python, R, and SQL, along with experience in Large Language Models, Generative AI, data mining, and statistical analysis. What we're looking for
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in data engineering are required, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
4+ years of experience with major data science languages such as Python and R.
4+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, or SQL.
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI).
Experience preparing data for use with AI or GenAI models.
Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI and ML.
Experience streamlining workflows by integrating LLMs and GenAI (preferred); experience conducting architecture/ETL for DoD or federal agencies (preferred); experience evaluating model performance (preferred).
