Data Engineer

What you'll do

• Deploy and develop data pipelines and platforms to organize disparate data sources.
• Manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable data platforms.
• Retrieve, merge, and analyze structured and unstructured data from APIs and databases.
• Prepare and process data specifically for use with AI and Generative AI models.
• Use Python, R, or SQL to perform data mining and statistical analysis.
• Streamline existing workflows by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI.
• Evaluate the performance of AI and ML models for client projects.

What we're looking for

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in data engineering are required.
• 12+ years of experience in data engineering is required in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience with major data science languages such as Python and R is required.
• 4+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, or SQL is required.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI) is required.
• Experience preparing data for use with AI or GenAI models is required.
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI and ML is required.
• Experience streamlining existing workflows by integrating LLMs and GenAI (preferred).
• Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoD or a federal agency (preferred).
• Experience evaluating AI and ML model performance (preferred).
• Experience with intelligence analysis (preferred).
