What you'll do

Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet specific business needs.
Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning for application development.
Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
Provide user and operational support for applications to business users.
Analyze complex problems to evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
Recommend and develop security measures during post-implementation analysis to ensure system functionality.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and coach to new or lower-level analysts.
Assess risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and internal policies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5-8 years of relevant experience.
Extensive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
Knowledge of Data Warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies.
Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AIRFLOW, and SNOWFLAKE.
Database expertise in MongoDB, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
Expertise in Unix shell scripting, Python, PySpark, and AbInitio tool.
Experience working in the Mortgage Originations and Servicing domain.
Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of Applications Development.
Knowledge and development experience in BigData technologies (preferred).
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements of applications (preferred).
Exposure to AI trends and technologies (preferred).
