As a Data Center Senior Facilities Service Manager - Mechanical (M3), you will lead an onsite team of technicians responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems. You will utilize skills in crisis management, service execution, and technical oversight of BMS/controls integration and predictive maintenance. This position addresses the critical challenge of maintaining 24/7 uptime for hyperscale data center operations by ensuring reliable mechanical infrastructure through disciplined execution, proactive maintenance planning, and rigorous adherence to safety and performance standards.

What you'll do

Lead a team of technicians in maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems.
Manage daily operations for the mechanical team, including work prioritization, coaching, and performance management.
Build and lead an in-house self-perform maintenance program to improve service execution and technician capabilities.
Oversee large-scale infrastructure such as chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and piping systems.
Manage vendors and contractors while enforcing strict SLAs and safety standards.
Track system health and performance metrics to reduce repeat failures and improve uptime.
Own mechanical safety programs, regulatory compliance, and technician training for hazardous materials like refrigerants.
Support incident response and service restoration to ensure 24/7 mission-critical operations.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Requires 10+ years of experience in the field.
Requires 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical service, or critical facilities maintenance.
Requires 1–3+ years of experience leading technicians or field maintenance operations.
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC technology, or a related field is preferred.
EPA Section 608 Certification, HVAC trade license, or OSHA 30 certification are preferred.
Must have a practical understanding of large-scale cooling systems, BMS integration, and emergency response.
Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 39 pounds and climbing ladders in an industrial environment.
