Custom Circuits Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop custom circuits to improve chip power efficiency.
• Define specifications and requirements in coordination with power, physical design, and architecture teams.
• Perform schematic capture, SPICE simulation, and margin verification across PVT and statistical designs.
• Conduct functional verification and silicon bring-up procedures.
• Oversee layout quality and work closely with the layout team to complete designs.
• Develop and drive circuit methodologies to achieve high design quality metrics.
• Conduct experiments during silicon debug and analyze data using scripting tools.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in design of advanced technology nodes (preferred).
• Experience in design of low voltages or low power custom circuits (preferred).
• Experience in ML accelerators, SRAM, non-volatile memories, or other specific circuit areas (preferred).
• Deep understanding of deep submicron device physics and leakage mechanisms (preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl and CAD automation tools (preferred).
• Knowledge of industry standard circuit and design tools (preferred).
