As a Digital Circuit Design Engineer, you will join a collaborative engineering team to develop custom circuits aimed at improving chip power efficiency. Your daily responsibilities involve collaborating with the power team, physical design teams, and architects to define specifications and requirements for functional products. You will perform circuit design, analysis, modeling, simulation, schematic capture, and spice simulation for margin verification across PVT and statistical design. Additionally, you will oversee layout quality and drive circuit methodology to achieve high design quality metrics. The role requires expertise in transistor level circuit design using VLSI techniques, SRAM compiler design with aggressive PPA targets, and Verilog for behavioral model coding. You will also utilize static timing analysis and Place and Route tools to ensure successful circuit integration into the final hardware products.

What you'll do

Develop custom circuits to improve chip power efficiency.
Define circuit specifications and requirements alongside the power team, physical design, and architects.
Perform circuit analysis, modeling, simulation, and spice verification across PVT and statistical designs.
Execute schematic capture and functional verification for silicon bring-up.
Oversee layout quality and work closely with the layout team to complete designs.
Develop and drive circuit methodologies to achieve high design quality metrics.
Design ultra-low power circuits using analog and transistor-level VLSI techniques.
Create SRAM macros with aggressive power, performance, and area targets.

What we're looking for

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience and/or education in designing high performance circuits.
Experience and/or education in designing ultra-low power circuits utilizing analog design.
Experience and/or education in conducting transistor level circuit design utilizing VLSI design.
Experience and/or education in SRAM compiler design for macros with aggressive PPA targets.
Experience and/or education using Hspice simulation to analyze design margins across voltages and temperature.
Experience and/or education using Verilog to code and verify behavioral models for circuits.
Experience and/or education using static timing analysis and PnR to work with physical design teams.
