Digital Circuit Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement custom digital circuits specifically for SRAM design.
• Formulate design specifications and define architectures that optimize power, timing, area, and yield.
• Perform schematic capture, simulations, analysis, and margin verifications.
• Conduct functional equivalency and DFT modeling for circuit designs.
• Write RTL code and validate use-cases against design schematics.
• Verify extracted GDS files to ensure they meet all design specifications.
• Perform backend verification including IR and EM analysis.
• Support post-silicon efforts to facilitate the successful productization of hardware.

What we're looking for

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Experience using CAD tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spice, and simulators for design entry and analysis.
• Ability to debug simulation failures on CAD software for logical verification.
• Knowledge of transistor physics for circuit optimization.
• Proficiency in using clock gating and power gating for circuit power optimization.
• Expertise in SRAM design to build and evaluate memory circuits.
• Experience analyzing circuits and SPICE simulations to ensure robust operation.
• Ability to use waveform viewers like Spice Explorer to verify circuit logic and timing.
• Experience performing Static Timing Analysis using PrimeTime or similar tools.
