Critical Environment Technical Trainer

What you'll do

• Deliver single to multi-day technical training sessions in-person or virtually using various delivery methods like labs and simulations.
• Use digitally enhanced instructor-led resources to prepare Critical Environment technicians for local qualifications.
• Incorporate the latest features, technologies, and processes into current learning experiences to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Apply classroom management techniques such as behavioral reinforcement and time management to ensure learners understand core concepts.
• Create a supportive learning environment while monitoring student progress and providing feedback on course content to the broader team.
• Align training preparation with specific metrics like cloud consumption and survey feedback to measure success.
• Conduct workforce training needs analysis and participate in procedural change management activities for local datacenters.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience in training, education, critical environments, cloud systems, datacenter environments, server environments, or computer technologies.
• Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in training, education, critical environments, cloud systems, datacenter environments, server environments, or computer technologies.
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check and other required security screenings.
• Preferred: hands-on experience maintaining facility cooling, electrical, mechanical, life safety, EPMS, BCM, BAS, and BMS systems.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in training delivery and readiness operations or demonstrated project management skills.
• Ability to analyze and write to represent training data and anecdotal feedback in meaningful ways.
• Strong operational planning and structured thinking with a bias for execution.
• Proficiency in delivering multi-day training via presentations, discussions, labs, and simulations in person or virtually.
