What you'll do

Oversee daily maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in the datacenter.
Manage planned preventative and corrective work orders using CMMS tools.
Ensure all fire, life safety, and infrastructure systems operate at peak efficiency.
Act as an escalation point for facilities issues and provide technical recommendations on design parameters.
Manage small-to-medium projects from initial conception through completion.
Report on critical infrastructure KPIs, operational metrics, and compliance standards.
Identify single points of failure and lead remediation efforts to improve reliability.
Drive initiatives focused on cost reduction and energy efficiency.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of industry experience, or 2+ years of industry experience and college coursework.
Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks and other government security screening requirements.
Experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or physical IT infrastructures (preferred).
Technical College degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications such as ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, PMP, ITIL, or CDCP (preferred).
6 months of experience with building cooling, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems (preferred).
6 months of experience with Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, Branch Circuit Monitoring, and Building Automation Systems (preferred).
2+ years of experience with project management or related certifications/training, and 2+ years on large scale projects (preferred).
