What you'll do

  • Create robust, scalable, and secure hardware designs for complex products and feature areas.
  • Develop and implement solutions for complex technical challenges involving multiple business variables.
  • Design and execute test plans while identifying new tools and methodologies for verification.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve flaws in product design changes.
  • Create project implementation schedules, monitor performance, and manage resource dependencies.
  • Identify significant project risks early and develop proactive mitigation plans.
  • Write functional specifications and technical documentation regarding materials, components, and functionality.
  • Track design changes through established configuration management processes.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 1+ year of technical engineering experience.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Equivalent experience to the specified educational and experience requirements is acceptable.
  • Ability to pass a Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
  • Experience designing robust, scalable, and secure hardware systems for complex products.
  • Proficiency in using modeling tools to develop drawings for new products or features.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and conduct complex data/statistical analysis to identify defects.
  • Skill in managing project implementation schedules, risk assessment, and technical documentation.
