What you'll do

Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in leased datacenters.
Maximize Critical Environment availability and operational efficiency in coordination with landlord partners.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes to identify and mitigate infrastructure issues.
Execute cost and energy efficiency initiatives to optimize datacenter performance.
Manage emergency preparedness, response plans, and serve as an escalation point for facility issues.
Coordinate and supervise Critical Environment audits and compliance verifications.
Monitor and report on power, temperature, humidity, and service level agreement (SLA) metrics.
Develop and share best practices with regional and global peers to improve datacenter operations.

What we're looking for

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a datacenter or critical environment facility.
Alternatively, must have 3 years of industry experience and college coursework.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
Bachelor’s degree or technical college certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or services (preferred).
3+ years of experience in Critical Environment infrastructures such as UPS, Generator, or AHU (preferred).
Experience working on large scale CE projects (preferred).
Experience with the operation of IT infrastructure including servers, SANs, and networking (preferred).
