CPU Implementation Engineer

As a CPU Implementation Engineer, you will join the hardware team to perform block-level and top-level EMIR analysis to identify electrical weaknesses in power delivery networks for high-performance compute blocks. Your daily responsibilities include conducting power grid design, optimization, and verification using physical design tools while ensuring robust power delivery and minimal voltage drop. You will develop custom scripts in Python and TCL to automate EMIR, SIGEM, and reliability analysis workflows. The role involves investigating IR drop and EM violations by tracing metal layers and via structures, collaborating with CAD vendors to validate tool results, and coordinating with SoC-level integration teams for tape-out signoff. This position focuses on the technical challenge of ensuring design reliability in very large-scale digital silicon designs across deep submicron technologies from package to active transistor gate levels.
