Computer Support Technician

What you'll do

• Administer, maintain, and ensure compliance for the RSP Space Development Lab Network.
• Manage network topology, inventory, and configuration.
• Define and implement upgrades to the IT environment.
• Perform new server builds and hardware configurations.
• Write scripts to optimize the IT environment.
• Provide Level 2 support for system configuration and baseline changes.
• Resolve complex computer problems that exceed the knowledge of engineering staff.
• Perform security patching and testing on servers and PCs.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma.
• Two years of experience in Computer Support 2.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience debugging and resolving Information Technology problems.
• Hands-on experience setting up and configuring Information Technology equipment.
• Experience performing security patching and testing on Servers and PCs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (preferred).
• Experience with software development labs and software/hardware integration (preferred).
• Bash/Python script writing experience (preferred).
• ESXi and VMWare experience (preferred).
• Experience with networks and networking equipment (preferred).
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171 network compliance (preferred).
• Active COMPTIA Security+ Certification (preferred).
• CISSP or RedHat certification(s) (preferred).
