Computer Support Technician 2

What you'll do

• Provide weekly verification of PC and peripheral inventory across different networks.
• Act as a liaison between various teams for tasking and inventory coordination.
• Utilize inventory databases and other tools for accurate and efficient record keeping.
• Troubleshoot, install, and configure desktops running Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Learn and apply cyber security methods and processes.
• Configure user and computer accounts in Active Directory.
• Support VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) as needed.

What we're looking for

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of additional education and/or experience.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) clearance.
• Experience troubleshooting, installing, and configuring Windows 10 desktops and Microsoft Office Suite.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work after hours or weekends as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Dell, or HP certifications (preferred).
