What you'll do

Manage a team of Cloud Solution Architects to deliver Microsoft technology solutions for government and education institutions.
Coach the team on operational excellence, including pipeline management, risk mitigation, and adherence to corporate standards.
Guide the team in designing well-architected, secure, and AI-enabled solutions that drive customer adoption and usage growth.
Identify and pursue cross-solution opportunities to expand Microsoft's footprint across various cloud platforms and services.
Act as a bridge between technical decision makers and business leaders to align technology with organizational goals.
Advocate for product improvements by sharing customer feedback and identifying patterns with internal engineering teams.
Orchestrate partnerships with external vendors to fulfill complex project requirements and ensure solution coherence.
Mentor team members on technical readiness, professional development, and the creation of scalable intellectual property.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field and 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies or IT consulting.
3+ years of people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, or architecture (preferred).
Master's Degree and 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting (preferred).
6+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role (preferred).
6+ years of experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions (preferred).
Technical Certification in Cloud, such as Azure, AWS, Google, or security certifications (preferred).
5+ years of people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers (preferred).
