Cloud Infrastructure Financial and Strategic Lead

What you'll do

• Establish and manage internal cost metrics and comparative models across AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Act as the financial domain expert for third-party cloud infrastructure operations and commercial strategy.
• Develop cost-and-capability models to inform sourcing decisions and influence infrastructure investment.
• Partner with engineering teams to drive efficiency through process improvement, automation, and new tooling.
• Manage vendor relationships to secure better cost, usage, and commitment data for accurate reporting.
• Perform financial planning and analysis tasks including quarterly JV preparation and infrastructure allocations.
• Analyze operating results and communicate key drivers to leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Develop tools and analytics to support annual planning, forecasting cycles, and quarterly closing.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.
• 7+ years of Finance or Business experience in a fast-paced environment such as FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Engineering.
• Technical proficiency with advanced financial modeling tools and scripting languages including SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Experience in cloud technologies with hands-on cost management in a large-scale enterprise multi-cloud environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud pricing, cost structures, and billing models.
• Experience managing multi-cloud cost strategy, including forecasting, budgeting, spend tracking, and variance analysis.
• Ability to establish cloud cost governance across various subscriptions, accounts, projects, and segments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
