What you'll do

  • Design and implement scalable cloud data architectures using Snowflake and Azure.
  • Configure Snowflake environments including warehouses, roles, resource monitors, and data sharing.
  • Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, query optimization, and warehouse sizing.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and data security strategies like encryption and masking.
  • Monitor system performance and execute cost optimization strategies for Snowflake and Azure resources.
  • Troubleshoot data load issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Document architecture designs, data flows, and technical standards.

What we're looking for

  • 4-year college degree in computer science/information systems (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of enterprise data warehouse industry experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud data engineering or cloud platform support.
  • 4+ years of experience with data architecture and implementing data warehouse data marts.
  • 4+ years of experience in writing complex SQL.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, issue resolution, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and decision-making skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Microsoft Azure (ADF, Blob Storage, IAM concepts) (preferred).
