As a Sr. Data Engineering Lead, you will join the team to develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and systems for acquiring, storing, transforming, and analyzing large volumes of data. What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in Azure for ingesting and transforming data into Databricks Delta Lake.
Implement ELT/ETL processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across diverse sources.
Create and optimize data models and database schemas for structured and unstructured data storage.
Migrate existing on-premise applications to cloud infrastructure using Azure services.
Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize queries, data structures, and infrastructure configurations.
Manage multiple instances of databases and servers while providing technical support to the development team.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject.
10+ years of overall IT industry experience.
8+ years of Bigdata data pipeline experience.
8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer focusing on Azure Databricks.
8+ years of experience in cloud-based development including Azure Services, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Scala or Java.
Experience with Snowflake (preferred).
Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect (preferred).
