JOB TITLE: T26-9768;Software Engineering & Development, VP As a Data Engineer Lead, you will join a global team to develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines supporting the acquisition, storage, transformation, and analysis of large data volumes. You will design and implement efficient ELT/ETL processes, data models, and database schemas to ensure data quality and integrity. Your daily work involves migrating on-prem applications to the cloud, specifically managing Azure Data Lake, Databricks Delta Lake, and Snowflake as a Data Warehouse. You will utilize technologies including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Scala, and Java. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting pipelines, implementing RBAC and ABAC security solutions, and optimizing queries for performance. What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in Azure for ingesting and transforming data into Databricks and Snowflake.
Implement efficient ELT/ETL processes to clean, aggregate, and enrich raw data for downstream analysis.
Design and implement efficient data models and database schemas for structured and unstructured data.
Integrate with internal systems to implement security solutions including RBAC and ABAC.
Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and security.
Implement data quality controls and validation processes to identify and rectify data anomalies.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize queries, data structures, and infrastructure configurations.
Manage data infrastructure in Azure, including DataLake, DataWarehouse, and Synapse.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject.
12+ years of overall IT industry experience.
8+ years of overall data pipeline and Data Warehousing experience.
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer focusing on Azure Databricks and Snowflake.
5+ years of experience on cloud-based development including Azure Services, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Scala or Java.
Hands-on experience with Azure services including Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and SQL Database.
Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect (preferred).
