What you'll do

Drive cellular modem systems development across multiple projects simultaneously to meet execution targets.
Manage all aspects of modem development including PHY, MAC/RLC/RRC, multi-sim, and concurrent RAT operation.
Track project schedules through every phase from architecture and design to validation and production ramp.
Drive the closure of technical requirements and specifications with cellular system partners.
Anticipate project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.
Resolve technical issues between functional teams including VLSI, firmware, RF systems, and digital verification.
Distill complex technical data into clear status presentations for executive reviews.

What we're looking for

BS in engineering discipline and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
Proven track record of hands-on engineering management, leadership, or program/project management.
Experience in the development of wireless baseband modem systems, algorithms, hardware, and/or firmware.
Knowledge of wireless communications such as OFDM and MIMO (preferred).
Experience with wireless standards including 5G-NR, 4G LTE, UMTS, GSM, or CDMA (preferred).
Understanding of end-to-end cellular systems involving the UE and network (preferred).
Experience in leading algorithm development, modeling, and systems simulation (preferred).
Understanding of modern cellular PHY building blocks and RF/Baseband integration (preferred).
