The Modem Systems Engineer joins the Modem Technologies group to support the development of next-generation mobile communication technologies. This role involves high-level architecture studies, modem algorithm design, and development, with a specific focus on power-efficient design, verification, and commercialization. What we're looking for
Master's degree in EE, ECE, CS, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related fields with strong components in probability, machine learning, statistics, and linear algebra.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Academic project experience or up to 5 years of industry experience in communication theory, machine learning, signal processing, or related fields (preferred).
Ability to program effectively in C/C++, Python, and/or Matlab using modern coding assistance tools (preferred).
Experience with key machine learning tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras and neural network architectures (preferred).
Up to 4 years of Systems Engineering or related work experience (preferred).
Up to 2 years of experience working in a large matrixed organization (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning and intellectual curiosity (preferred).
