Azure Solution Area Specialist
As an Azure Solution Area Specialist within the digital enterprise sales organization, you will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for key customers. You will lead cloud and AI customer engagements by conducting workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and solution storytelling to guide clients through infrastructure modernization and data estate unification. Your daily responsibilities include managing the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification to deployment and expansion, while driving pipeline growth using tools like Azure Accelerate and Marketplace. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to position Azure as a foundation for secure, AI-powered transformation. The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, data modernization, analytics, and agent-based experiences. You will navigate complex business problems by identifying cross-sell opportunities and developing competitive strategies against other cloud providers to accelerate customer time-to-value and platform growth.
Act as a trusted advisor to guide customers through cloud modernization and AI transformation journeys.
Lead technical and business conversations using solution storytelling, demonstrations, workshops, and whiteboarding.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial opportunity qualification through deployment and consumption expansion.
Drive pipeline growth and forecast accuracy using internal tools and AI-powered sales insights.
Position Azure as the primary platform for customer initiatives involving Copilot scenarios and data modernization.
Orchestrate cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and partners to deliver integrated solutions.
Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities across various cloud and AI solution areas.
Develop competitive strategies to win market share against other major cloud providers and AI competitors.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
2+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience (preferred).
