As an Enterprise Solutions Architect - Azure, you will join a team supporting the HHS Office of Inspector General to architect and implement cloud solutions that transform federal IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing and developing Azure-based cloud infrastructure and application platform solutions while modeling architecture for scale, resiliency, security, performance, and cost. Your daily work involves creating solution roadmaps, driving proofs of concept, managing migration strategies, and collaborating with multi-functional agile teams to ensure technical viability. The role requires expertise in Microsoft Cloud Enterprise Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Analytics. You will utilize skills in cloud infrastructure architecture design and application development to solve complex problems within the federal health IT portfolio while ensuring all solutions comply with established government standards and requirements.
Design and deliver Azure-based cloud infrastructure and application platform solutions for the HHS OIG portfolio.
Model cloud architecture to ensure scalability, resiliency, security, performance, and cost optimization.
Develop and lead modernization and migration strategies aligned with enterprise and security requirements.
Create technical solution roadmaps and drive Proofs of Concept (POC) and Minimum Viable Products (MVP).
Ensure the long-term technical viability of cloud migrations using relevant technologies.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and technical artifacts to ensure compliance with government standards.
Integrate AI and data analytics capabilities into enterprise cloud infrastructure designs.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess or be able to obtain a Public Trust (MBI T2) clearance.
Must hold a Microsoft Certified - Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience designing and delivering large-scale cloud infrastructure and application platform solutions.
At least 8 years of experience in at least one of the following: Core Infrastructure, Application Development, Data and Analytics, or Low Code/No Code.
Experience in AI and Data Analytics (e.g., Microsoft certifications in AI engineer, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer).
