As a Cloud Solution Architect on the Cloud Security Consulting team, you will serve as a center of excellence for specific cloud security technology areas and associated Fortinet products. You will act as a trusted advisor by creating multi-cloud and hybrid cloud security blueprints, developing custom architecture and automation code, and publishing reference architectures. Your daily work involves building agentic AI applications to solve cybersecurity challenges, conducting demonstrations, and producing whitepapers or blog content. The role requires expertise in public and private cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and NSX, alongside proficiency in Python, Java, CI/CD, DevOps tools such as Ansible and CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as Code. You will address complex technical problems regarding network and application security while providing expert guidance on scalable, API-first designs using containers and serverless technologies.
Create multi-cloud and hybrid cloud security blueprints using vendor-neutral best practices.
Develop agentic AI applications to address customer challenges in cloud and cybersecurity domains.
Provide expert guidance on cloud security design and architecture during customer meetings.
Develop custom architecture and automation code based on specific customer requirements for cloud deployments.
Publish reference architectures, whitepapers, and blogs regarding key technology topics.
Lead technical webinars and conduct hands-on demonstrations of Fortinet products.
Create advanced course materials and documentation to support training teams and the NSE Institute.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Graduate degree (preferred).
10+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Consulting SE, Software Architect, or Solution Architect in cloud, networking, infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
5+ years of experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, and software development.
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with one or more public or private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, NSX).
Proficiency in modern software architecture including CI/CD, DevOps tools, Infrastructure as Code, scalability, and API-first design.
Working knowledge of Python, Java, or other programming languages; experience building agentic AI applications (preferred); and cloud certifications (preferred).
