What you'll do

Develop, debug, and maintain high-quality production code using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
Design and implement secure, scalable software solutions for complex technical problems.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technology applicability.
Lead communities of practice to promote the adoption of leading-edge technologies across engineering teams.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and testing.
Implement automated CI/CD pipelines and utilize tools within the software development life cycle.
Ensure all technical solutions adhere to strict security, resiliency, and data sensitivity standards.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in Software Engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
Hands-on experience coding in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, and REST.
Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka and building RESTful backend applications.
Proficiency with relational enterprise databases such as Oracle.
Strong knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools in engineering workflows.
Solid understanding of application resiliency, security, and system design for large corporate environments.
