As an AWS Lead Software Engineer-Full Stack/Java/SpringBoot within the Payments Technology team, you will join an agile team focused on delivering secure, stable, and scalable healthcare technology products. What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Design and execute creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems and break down routine issues.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing across the team.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across the Software Engineering organization.
Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchains and automation capabilities to improve the value realized by development processes.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience coding in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, and REST.
Experience building RESTful backend applications using Spring Boot and Oracle relational databases.
Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in large corporate environments.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI use.
Familiarity with Groovy, Gradle, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS cloud technologies (preferred).
