AVP, Release Train Engineer serves as a strategic individual contributor within the Enterprise Program Management Office. This role combines technical program management expertise with Agile delivery practices to support enterprise-scale technology initiatives. The individual will manage large-scale programs and portfolio deliverables, ensuring governance of scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies while aligning roadmaps with business objectives. Manage large-scale technology programs by overseeing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.
Develop and track program roadmaps in alignment with senior leadership's strategic objectives.
Deliver executive-level status reporting, dashboards, and governance materials using program metrics and OKRs.
Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and communicate risk mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, retrospectives, and refinement sessions.
Identify and remove delivery impediments while escalating critical issues for resolution.
Track program budgets, actual expenditures, and financial performance reporting.
Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and metrics analysis.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in program management, technical program management, Agile delivery leadership, or a related discipline within a large enterprise environment.
Experience managing enterprise-scale technology programs and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience preparing executive-level reporting, presentations, and governance materials.
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and related project delivery and reporting tools.
Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar programs and strong financial management capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to engage senior leadership and navigate complex organizational structures.
MBA or Master’s degree in a related field (preferred); PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certification (preferred).
