RELEASE TRAIN ENGINEER The Release Train Engineer joins the Compass Technology team to support an Agile Release Train within the Enterprise Technology organization. What you'll do

Facilitate the preparation and execution of release planning for the Agile Release Train (ART).
Guide ART teams in refining features to meet the "Definition of Ready" for upcoming cycles.
Manage changes to the program plan and assess their impact on delivery goals.
Maintain transparency through backlog management, data integrity in ALM tools, and reporting metrics.
Facilitate periodic reviews with stakeholders to provide clarity on value delivery and feedback.
Lead ART Retrospectives to improve backlog management, sprint reviews, and operational workflows.
Coach the release train on Agile processes, practices, and mindset implementation.
Participate in the RTE Community of Practice to align technical and quality practices across the organization.

What we're looking for

Must understand the difference between being Agile and doing Agile.
Must demonstrate comprehension of a Lean-Agile mindset and ability to develop others in this area.
Must be a servant leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate discussions across all levels.
Must have strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software.
Must have experience applying Lean Thinking and Systems Thinking in large organizations.
Must have experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe, or other scaling models.
Prior experience as a RTE, VSE, Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Program Manager is required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; advanced degree, Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP), PMP, and SAFe Agilist are preferred.
