What you'll do

Plan, schedule, and coordinate avionics and electrical work to meet aircraft deadlines.
Provide technical guidance and supervision to technicians regarding troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
Perform maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
Ensure all work records and job charging are accurate and compliant with FAA regulations.
Maintain preventive maintenance programs for tools, test equipment, and special equipment.
Enforce safety protocols, including FOD control, tool control, and 5S practices in the hangar.
Provide daily status reports and progress updates to management and customers.
Coordinate with other departments to support projects, certification, and final phase testing.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of experience on large or midsize aircraft.
8 years of avionics/electrical aviation experience, or 2 years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and 6 years of related experience.
FAA A&P license preferred; must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate within 30 days of start date.
FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and avionics schematics and blueprints.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Work authorizations in order to meet the master schedule.
