What you'll do

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate avionics and electrical work to meet aircraft deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to technicians regarding troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
  • Ensure all work records and job charging are accurate and compliant with FAA regulations.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance programs for tools, test equipment, and special equipment.
  • Enforce safety protocols, including FOD control, tool control, and 5S practices in the hangar.
  • Provide daily status reports and progress updates to management and customers.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support projects, certification, and final phase testing.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of experience on large or midsize aircraft.
  • 8 years of avionics/electrical aviation experience, or 2 years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and 6 years of related experience.
  • FAA A&P license preferred; must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate within 30 days of start date.
  • FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and avionics schematics and blueprints.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Work authorizations in order to meet the master schedule.
