Avionics/Electrical Technician IV

What you'll do

• Perform operational testing and troubleshooting of avionics and electronic aircraft systems to ensure defect-free performance.
• Repair or replace defective components and wiring using professional splicing, soldering, and pinning techniques.
• Provide direct training and mentorship to personnel on installation procedures and troubleshooting concepts.
• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate the reliability of electronic systems and components.
• Pre-inspect the work of others to ensure compliance with engineering specifications before final inspection.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation for all work performed on aircraft.
• Oversee and implement engineering changes, modifications, and process improvements to reduce costs and meet schedules.
• Enforce company safety regulations, including FOD programs, tool control, and 5-S standards.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or two years of accredited schooling and four years of related experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• A & P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification (preferred).
• Previous Gulfstream and/or corporate aircraft experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, or flight controls (preferred).
• APU run qualification and engine run qualification (preferred).
