This role focuses on resolving system discrepancies to minimize schedule impacts while ensuring safety and quality standards are met during the manufacturing and service of advanced business jet aircraft.

What you'll do

  • Perform advanced operational testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems to ensure defect-free aircraft.
  • Install and functionally test components according to engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.
  • Repair or replace wiring and components using approved techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning.
  • Provide technical guidance and direct training to staff to support cross-functional workforce development.
  • Oversee compliance with engineering changes and modifications while ensuring safety and quality standards.
  • Set up and operate test equipment to conduct performance and reliability evaluations of electronic systems.
  • Document all work performed in logs and maintenance records accurately and completely.
  • Pre-inspect the work of others prior to formal inspection to reduce rework and improve efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six years of avionics/electrical experience, or two years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and four years of related experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in aircraft avionics systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor others in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • A & P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification (preferred).
  • Gulfstream experience on mid-cabin and large-cabin aircraft (preferred).
  • Proficiency in other aircraft systems like hydraulics or flight controls; APU and engine run qualifications (preferred).
