Avionics Test Engineer, Avionics

What you'll do

• Define requirements for test methods used in design verification and qualification campaigns.
• Develop automated test station hardware for engineering labs and production environments.
• Execute design verification and qualification plans on complex satellite avionics.
• Influence product designs to improve manufacturing and testing efficiency (DFM/DFT).
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and work instructions.
• Commission and upgrade test racks for new production stations or design revisions.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware test setups in collaboration with liaison engineers.
• Develop reporting tools to track and analyze manufacturing KPIs.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 4+ years of experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems.
• Experience planning and executing test campaigns for electronics systems including design verification, qualification, and environmental testing.
• Experience defining test requirements for complex electronic systems.
• Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design using ECAD tools.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging hardware or experience in computer architecture.
• Proficiency with RF lab equipment such as VNAs, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and vector signal generators.
