Senior Avionics Hardware Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary liaison between production, test, and design teams to resolve hardware issues in real time.
• Optimize manufacturing test flows for avionics systems to improve measurement quality, efficiency, and throughput.
• Review and approve manufacturing processes and work instructions for assembly and testing of avionics hardware.
• Lead MRB activities and root cause corrective actions (RCCA) for PCBA and subsystem-level nonconformances.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair test setups for avionics systems in production environments.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing KPI reporting tools to track yield trends, cycle times, and equipment performance.
• Create training materials, troubleshooting guides, and improved work instructions to reduce support burdens.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve test architecture and reduce cycle times while ensuring high-quality data capture.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in design, test, or manufacturing engineering roles supporting electronic hardware products.
• Experience developing or supporting manufacturing test flows and automation within space, automotive, industrial, or consumer electronics industries.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on electronic assemblies including component-level and system-level debugging.
• 7+ years of experience in design, test, or manufacturing engineering roles across the product lifecycle.
• Experience leading hardware debug involving hardware design, firmware, and production teams.
• Proficiency with tools like Python or MATLAB for data analysis, yield improvements, and test automation.
