What you'll do

Resolve complex customer issues regarding architecture, performance, recovery, and security.
Provide expert advice on best practices for running MongoDB at scale.
Act as a technical resource for the entire MongoDB ecosystem including Atlas and Cloud Manager.
Advocate for customer needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
Develop internal software tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical problems in real-time under pressure.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be based in Mexico City for the hybrid working model.
Experience in systems administration, distributed systems, or network administration is required.
Expertise in database architecture, data design, and performance tuning/benchmarking is preferred.
Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, Javascript, Node.js, Go, PHP, or Perl is a bonus.
Experience administering large-scale production environments including hardware, OS (Linux, Windows), networks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
Must possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve problems in real-time are required.
Ability to rapidly learn new technical skills and work effectively within a team environment.
