What you'll do

Solve complex customer challenges regarding architecture, performance, recovery, and security for the MongoDB ecosystem.
Provide expert advice on best practices for running MongoDB at any scale.
Act as a customer advocate by communicating their needs to product management and development teams.
Develop internal software tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
Troubleshoot issues across database servers, drivers, cloud infrastructure, Atlas, and Cloud Manager.
Perform advanced diagnostics and handle technical escalations independently.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be based in Bengaluru to support the hybrid working model.
Strong technical experience is required in at least one area: systems, distributed systems, network administration, database architecture, or application architecture.
Experience with authentication systems such as OIDC/SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, or Active Directory is preferred.
Experience with virtualization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes is desired.
Preference is given to candidates with experience administering large-scale production environments involving hardware, OS (Linux/Windows), networks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience managing large-scale databases (RDBMS or NoSQL) and specifically using MongoDB is a plus.
Proficiency in distributed version control systems, particularly Git, is preferred.
Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, C/C++, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, Go, PHP, or Perl is an added bonus.
